Can I use Cayan as the gateway with a different processor?

We are new to Lightspeed and are a private, college store. As a college, we want to move our processing to our long-time bank and they use Cayan as their gateway. If Cayan is the gateway (with a different processor), can we still integrate payments with our Lightspeed POS? Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Hi there @klitz ,

    we do integrate with Cayan and typically they are the ones that give you the credentials that dictate if we integrate or not.

    Credentials are basically your Cayan account information that links Lightspeed Retail to Cayan. Here's what you would need from Cayan to be able to integrate it with Retail:

    A Name (usually the name of the Cayan Account), Site ID and Transaction Key. This information is essentially sent to you once you've signed up with cayan:

    Contact page: https://cayan.com/contact-us

    Customer support line: 1-844-278-7115


    Once you're signed up we can help you guys set up the Cayan info in your Retail account and the Payment Terminal as well. Click on the link below for an example of how we set it up with the most popular Payment Terminal they offer:


    If you're still unsure, I would show the above screenshot or mention the terms to your Payments Representative to
