Bulk Pricing issues
I'm trying to set up Bulk Pricing discounts for a product, but I can't seem to get it right.
Example: A product retails for $2.99 and I would like to do a promotion for "2 for $5"
But I can't seem to figure it out on the Retail side.... Anything I have been trying seems automatically discount the product starting at 1 quantity.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

there isn't any surefire way to make the system automatically apply a "2 for x$" discount or "Buy 1 get 1 free".
It is possible to create a Coupon Item (non-inventory) that you would manually adjust during the sale to subtract the difference.
To create coupon items
- From the main menu, click Inventory > New Item.
- Create a new item and from the Type drop-down, select Non-Inventory.
- Give the item a relevant description such as $5 off coupon or Summer Sale coupon and click Save Changes.
- Give this item a negative price point such as $-5.00 or -5 and make it non-taxable. (if you leave the price at $0.00 it will ask you for the amount each time you add it to the sale)
- Add this item to any sale that you want the discount applied to. It won't be displayed in the Discounts area of your sale, but the Total will be correct.

I agree, tiered pricing needs to be an option. It is available on eCom and should be in retail as well.
Great tip on coupons, thank you! And yes, more bumps for quantity based discounts!
This would be really useful to be able to do
