How to retrieve status of user subscription?

App billed by Lightspeed, I need to retrieve status of user subscription to allow access to app or not.


Should I create subscriptions manually during app installation? If so, how can I create recurring subscription from app, set up plan and price for this subscription?

Is it possible to retrieve webhook about user accept/decline this subscription?

    Hi Maximenya,

    Within the partner portal you can setup the pricing for the app. If you want to do it subscription based you have to control it 100% yourself. This means controlling subscription and pricing outside of Lightspeed.

    If you need more information about this please contact your Strategic Alliances contact. They can explain you more about this.

    The subscription endpoint in the API is for Newsletter subscriptions.

    Tim, thank you very much for your answer. 

    I wanna keep billing on the Lightspeed side.

    Have I any ability to check via API is user paid for app at the end of billing cycle? Because I need to synchronize database.
