Options for handling future inventory items
Working on setting up all our inventory.
We have some product sizes that we don't currently carry, but will likely carry in the future or are likely to be special-ordered by a client. I'd like to create those sizes and enter all of their information so they can easily be added at the time we carry them or they get ordered. However, I don't want them showing up right now, creating more clutter, when employees are ringing sales.
I thought I could add the sizes to the matrix, enter the info and then remove them from the matrix. However, they still show up during searches as well as during a "drill down" using buttons.
Is the only option to create the items in the matrix and then archive each one until the time we want use it? Seems like a pretty clunky option.
