With no webhooks, is this a good strategy?

I found this tutorial that seems to show a way to pull only the inventory items that have changed since a timestamp. I'm wondering if this method works with other records like orders and customers, or just inventory? In the absence of webhooks, this seems like it would be the most 'polite' way to ping Lightspeed for updates in certain records.

Am I missing something, or is this a viable way forward?

thanks!

Yes, this is the way that I pull in just recent records. You need to carefully review the API documentation for each endpoint, since the "last edited" timestamp could have a different element name depending. But this works for me!
