How does your eCom store average sale compare to that in your brick and mortar store? We could find this out using Analytics to see how both platforms compare.

To begin, launch the Recent Sales report, which will show you daily totals for this week. Instead of leaving the totals for just this week though, let's open the filters to go back over the past three months...

Then, to get a high-level view, let's remove the Dimension of Sale Complete Date:

...and add the Dimension of Sale Month...

Next, let's look for the Sale Channel, and we'll pivot on it...

So now, our table looks a bit like this...

Finally, let's remove the measure of Sale Line Total

and add the Measure of Sale Average Basket Size

...and finally, let's run the report!

When we see the report, it will show us on average how many products are on a customer's sale, showing us if our upsell strategy is working well.

The visualization will add to our analysis too...
