Is there a way to assign an employee multiple job codes (Kitchen, Server) which may have different pay rates that when upon clock in, they select their role for their shift?
While you can have a user in multiple user groups, ie: kitchen and server, this just gives them the roles of both, so you wouldn't be able to differentiate which job they were doing if they just had the one user account. For such users that might have multiple roles, I would recommend having two user accounts, one for each role, each with it's own PIN to log in, say "Kitchen - Katherine" and "Server - Katherine". This way it will be readily apparent when they did shifts as each role in the Labour Reports.
