Do work orders within Service work on the iPad app for retail? I show the icon but it is shaded out.
I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure the service module needs to be activated on the ipad. You should see it under setting and option modules. Hopefully a lightspeed representative can clarify.
To start, @discountpools60 is correct about the service module needing to be activated through the general Options. There's also a need to use the Manager side of the app.
When the app is on the basic POS screen, you'll see three tabs at the very bottom, one of which (on the right) is Manager.
From there, you should have a Service tab you can click. From there it should look just like the website and you'll be able to continue as usual.
