Retail Order API - Set to "Check-In"?

How do I set an order status to "Check-In" through the retail API and add "ordered" quantities to the Store inventory level?
I have successfully created an order through the api, I can see the item quantity set to "On Order" for the amount in the order.
How do I get this quantity to be available in the store?
If I log into the website, and go to Inventory => Purchase Orders or here: https://us.lightspeedapp.com/?name=purchase.listings.purchases&form_name=listing&__sort=status&__sort_dir=DESC
I can click the "Check-In" button to then apply the ordered product to the inventory levels.

Hello @john_2084,
It's currently not possible to check-in through the API , this step needs to happen in the UI.
