Default Quantities to ZERO on sale

We are a high volume fast paced garden center. We are having a terrible time with people not putting in the correct quantity of items sold. During the springtime we are recording many different types of plants on a cart. In the heat of the battle, you may get distracted by a cutomer asking a question or who knows what. Currently, the system, defaults to 1. If a person buys multiple items, they will only get charged for one if the employee doesnt put in the correct quantity. It would be great if there was an option to where we could default to zero and if any of the items have a zero quantity, the sales could not be closed. That would save me tons of trouble with lost revenue and inventory quantities being wrong.

    I'll note it down and make a suggestion out of it since it is not the way Lightspeed was built to operate for the time being.
