we are currently developing a connector for the Lightspeed eCom API for some of our customers and where wondering if there is any test envrionment that might be used to test our connector against, since we don't want to use our customers production environment.

While this pertains to Retail and not Ecom, perhaps this is worth a try?

You can create a Trial on this page: https://www.lightspeedhq.com/trial

Note that if you start with a standalone eCom it can not be connected to a Retail POS account. If you want an Omni (Retail connected to eCom) account you will need to request a Retail trial, on the same website, and install eCom from within Retail.

eCom shops connected to Retail have limited product permissions (can't write) and thus make sure you set up the correct eCom.

Once you have your trial setup you can request an API key with support and ask them to switch it from Trial to Test account.
