How do you handle Customer Backorders?

One of our biggest issues with LightSpeed is that there is no accountability for backordered sales. Yes, a little warning shows up, but that info is not enough to create a "special order" for said item. The warning is already tied to the inventory levels, can it show what is available?

    Thank you for providing us feedback on this. You're correct that the negative quantities are only flagged and not stopped when it comes to the affects they have in the software.

    I'll note this onto our list of requested enhancements so that we can potentially implement a lock on that functionality depending on the employee role.
