Has anyone been having issues with sales attributed to the wrong register location?

It keeps happening even though we lock the ipad to the selected register each morning, employees sign in/out for breaks, use pins for each sale etc. It's causing accounting nightmares and we can't sort out why it is happening.

    Hey @LanSuPDX

    The "Lock to Register" feature only works on desktop. The check box logs a cookie in your browser to tie that register to your computer. Since the iPad uses an app rather than a browser, it does not lock to the particular iPad.

    If you have people switching back and forth between iPads, it would most likely log them into the register they last used. The best practice is to have registers with visibly different names, and encourage the employees to verify which register they are logged in to when they sign on for a sale.

    For further information, I would suggest speaking to support about this to see if there is anything else they could offer.

    It has been happening to us constantly using 2 IPads. We do not lock or log in, each of us floats between registers. This did not happen in the past. The best (weak) solution I have it to use each register in a different mode.

    I have had an open ticket with support for over a month, was told it was a development bug. Staff does lock, log in and out, double check the register name etc. no to no avail. I tried disabling the pins as suggested but that has made no difference.

    @partyfair are you still having this issue? We are with no resolution yet. Would love to hear if you found a viable work around. Keeping employees stationary is not an option.
