Which report should I use to see cash short or over? User Report or Cash Drawer, and how to do it?

Hi Cnj,

What I recommend doing is going to the Settings>Report Settings and scrolling down to the Cash Drawer Reports and turning on the following options:

• Show cash drawer info in day reports
• Show cashdrawer balance
• Show cash drawer adjustment details

This will allow you to see the cash drawer information in your day reports, and also allow you to see if any adjustments were made, ie: taking 20.00 out to get the windows cleaned, etc.

You can also turn on "Show cash due" which will show you the total cash that came in for the day, from which we subtract the total tips, and the cash due will be what you have to deposit at the bank (not taking into account cash drawer adjustments).
