Purchase Order General Notes v Notes

It seems that text values added to 'General Notes' on the 'Purchase Order' UI then appear in the Purchase Orders list as 'Notes'. We can locate Notes in the API but sending data here does not appear in the Purchase Orders list view 'Notes ' field?

What field should we send values to so they appear on the Purchase Order list view? @gregarican any thoughts?
