Sale prices and Discount issue

Hey there,

Whenever I put a product on sale why does a customers discount always overrule that discount?

Example: Product A is 20% off, if I scan Product A into a sale, the discount of 20% comes off immediately. But if I type a customers name into the sale after I scan Product A, and that Customer always receives a 10% discount, Product A automatically switches from 20% off to 10% off.

Is there a way I can override this issue from happening again?

    Hey @BlueRibbon

    This has to do with the customer profile that resets the sales existing discounts if they get added after the item/discount is applied to the sale.

    Normally the workaround to this would be to add the customer first, and then applying the discount on the items you wish to modify.
