Creating Matrix from Purchase-order
I'm wondering if anyone can share some insides on how are you creating Matrix from a purchase order.
We receive new products every day and most of them are not in the system, our POS has about 14K items and most of them are not inside a matrix, which makes things really hard to add to our website.
I'm wondering what is the easier process of creating a matrix from a purchase order, i can't believe there isn't an easy way to do it like:
Select all the items you need and then click on a group into matrix button. And that will automatically create the matrix for you based on the information of the selected products.
Currently we receive an Order, products are created individually from the catalogs imports or manually by our stock receiving staff, then you need to go into the matrix section of lightspeed, create the matrix, add all the same information it was already added into the item when receiving, then look for the item and add it into the matrix.
That for me makes no sense what so ever, it feels that who ever is creating and designing lightspeed doesn't even use or test the system, it doesn't take much to figure out this is not the way to do it.
So, on that note, has anyone figure out a better way to do this?
