Why do we have to open a register to make a quote?
Currently, all events during sales (like items added to the sale, changes of prices, application of discounts etc) get stored in the Event Log of each sale. The Event Log is currently only used when making sales in an open Register in retail.
When performing a quote, since we need to track those same things, it requires the register to be open.
