Making Address Field Searchable

Since our business does a lot of service work and sells equipment to customers, it would be beneficial for us to be able to search for an address when looking up a customer. We sell equipment that we hold a warranty on, the property is sold but the warranty stays with the property. The new owner of the property comes in and needs something related but does not have the old property owner's name. We need to search for the address and attach the new property owner to the address.

Is there a viable reason as to why this field is not searchable?

To be sure that I have this correct, you said you wanted to request being able to make a search using an address field in Work orders?

I have the same question. We service many homes that change ownership but the product remains with the homes. We need to be able to search by address as well in the Customer list. Odd that we cant.
