Why doesn't the sale of a gift card show on the Home screen, under revenue or profit?

Why doesn't the sale of a gift card show on the Home screen, under revenue or profit?

I made a sale of $150 on a gift card today. But it shows the sale as $0. The only money it shows is from the pervious sale. Will the $150 still be deposited into my bank account? Seems strange

    I think its an accounting thing. A gift card is a liability, not a sale.

    The sale happens when the gift card is transacted for a product or service.
