Setting a client comment on an order

Hi there,

I have an issue with placing a client comment (normally added by a client on placing the order) on an order. There seems to be no way to update that field. Am i missing something out here?

I need the field to place a note for the packaging list and be visible on the backend above Clientinfo on order.

    It is only possible to place client comments on checkouts.

    To do so, you can do a call to:


    With the following in the body:

    "comment": "client note"

    When the checkout is converted to an order, it is not possible anymore to add the comment. Instead you can add a memo to the order if you want:



     "order": {
       "memo": "Memo"

    Thank you Ali, i figured that one out too. The issue is that i use a webhook to catch orders created, but then checkout is already done...

    The memo is more for internal use and i don't want any internal messages wind up on the packageslip. That could get awkward ;-)
