Lightspeed API returns not meaning full error message when cannot apply a coupon code with Minimum a

Hi Lightspeed team,

I am from JMango360. We are providing the app solution for multiple customers who are using Lightspeed for their ecommerce website.

We see a scenario that we can know which error message we should show. The scenario is:

  • We setup a coupon which requires the minimum order amount is 200Euro.
  • When we apply it on website, it shows the error message as 'Minimum order amount for this discount code xxxx is 200Euro'.
  • But when applying on the app, the Lightspeed API returns this:

"message": "Could not set discount code"

}

According the above response, we cannot know that the order amount does not meet the required minimum order amount. As the result, we cannot know how to show the correct message as same as the website.

    Hi,

    I will create a ticket for this and have a look on if we can create an Enhancement Request to have this changed.
