Real Time Inventory

GastonGaston Member Posts: 1

Dear Community,

I would like to know the possibility to have a real time inventory from our suppliers. The idea is to use Google Docs sheet where they will have organize all their inventory, let's say 3000 SKUs, with a quantity column; so when they will update in the end of the day that column automatically our system (Ecomm) will be updated accordingly.

This is crucial since we realize not knowing their stock is creating a conflict with our customers service and experience.

Anyone know about it?

Thank you so much in advance.

Gaston

    Hi @Gaston,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Yeah you'd need to use the Google drive watch API to listen for changes in a Google sheet resource, register some handlers for that and then have your middleware make the relevant change for that row inside eCom.

Otherwise you could register an on edit function to change the timestamp of a given field and send you an event, and you can handle that row through your middleware either one will do.

Unfortunately we can't support you on both methods, please contact our support agents by email if they can help you find a partner/developer who can help you building this connection.

    I hope this helps.
