External Receipt Printer

We are new to lightspeed and using it in a retail space that does not print conventional receipts, they are normally on 8.5/11 paper. The problem I am running into is I cannot print a receipt from the iPad to our printer without going into reports, which not all our associates have access to. Does anyone know a way to do this?

    Hey @carlevattif

    Sales receipts, when using the stylized section of the Retail POS app can only print using Airprint to a full sized printer if you were to re-print them after the sale is complete, here's how:

    Print receipts from the Sales screen

    1. From the Sales screen, search and filter the list and select a sale.

    1. On the Details panel, tap Print receipt.
    2. Select one of the following options:
      • Print Full-Page Receipt
      • Print Full-Page Gift Receipt
    3. From the Printer Options modal, select your printer. The printer you select will be your default printer the next time you print a full-page receipt.
    4. Optionally, use the - or + buttons to adjust the number of copies you'd like to print. 
    5. You can also tap Options to toggle between single-sided or double-sided, control the page range and toggle between color or black and white.
    6. Tap Print.

    By default, the only printers available if you attempt to print a freshly completed sale will be the receipt size.
