2 receipt templates for 1 invoice

Just wondering if it is possible to have a second receipt template I could choose from a checkbox or similar for some transactions.

Would be good to have a second terms and conditions for certain products.

Thanks
Nick

Hey @Pommylump, there would be a number of ways to implement this.

    1. Write a conditional for the footer using HTML and Twig. No Ajax Call needed.
Something along the lines of "if Item ID/CategoryID === x then output the HTML for a different footer"

    2. Make an AjAX Call using Javascript and Write a conditional against a CategoryID/ItemID.
i.e. if itemID/Category ID === x then change the content of Footer to Something else

    3. Just use javascript to match the words of respective items and then change the footer conditionally

All these require custom development of some sorts.

If you're familiar with DOM manipulation then this should be fine, otherwise we'd recommend you request the assistance of a third party developer.

    Hi @Pommylump,

If you want an alternative that doesn't require 3rd party developer, you could try out the QuoteMachine app : https://www.lightspeedhq.com/integrations/quotemachine/

It allows you to create quotes and invoices and choose the right template on the fly. If you're interested, I'll be happy to show you ;)
