Service Order Payment Completion Upfront

We are a custom clothing company and collect payment for our orders upfront ($3-10k per order) to pay for the work. We do not provide refunds or cancellations.

We are unable to use the Work Order / Service feature because Lightspeed does not transfer the payment amount to our account until the Work Order is set to complete.

We have 1-8 month production timelines and cannot wait that long to receive payment so we cannot use the nice status features and order management that Lightspeed offers. We need the "deposit" payment to be received in our account while the Work Order is still open and going through status changes.

For small companies like Bike Shops I can see how this might be ok, but for large orders it makes the service unusable for us.
