Translation rules in content templates

I am currently setting up the E-mail, Invoice and Shipping templates (Design > Content Templates). Now we offer the webshop in 3 languages. However, we would like to add a few lines of text to the template, these translations should match the chosen language.

Does anyone know a way to add translation rules to the content templates?

Thanks in advance!

Within the templates , you can add a translation key (by adding "|t") to make it possible to translate the text.

Lets say you have the text "Example" in your template and you want to translate it to 3 languages.

In order to do so, you open the template, find "Example", replace it with {{ 'Example' | t }} and save. After that, you can add a custom translation from the back-office:

    Hey Ali,

    Firstly, thanks for your help!

When I try your suggestion, I get the following results:

    E-mail template:

    Translation key:

    Result on e-mail:

As you can see, the translation doesn't appear. I've tested it on the e-mail and invoice template.

Can you please check where it's going wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

Can you send me your shopID so I can have a closer look?

I just tested it out on my own test shop and it's working as expected.
