De-duplication Awin pixel

Does anyone have experience installing an Awin affiliate pixel with de-duplication.
This means that when a customer comes to our site at a later time or other day/hour via Google, adwords, facebook, etc., no commission has to be paid to the affiliate on a sale.

instijlmedia has tried several times via GTM or directly in the code but it won't work. It would be something with the datalayer or something like that in the shopping cart.
