Scanning Product to the "Print Label" List

I find it very frustrating that in a feature called "Print Labels" you cannot scan items into it.

I want to be able to use a barcode scanner and scan multiple items without having to scan>then press the little plus button>then go into the Print Label list and press Print all.

I don't see why it would be that hard to add the "Add Items" bar at the top of the "Print Label" list so I can scan items directly into the list.
