Theme Export - Rain template files encoded strangely

AndyVAndyV Member Posts: 3

I want to keep a copy of my theme customizations, but I can't figure out how to download the theme in a proper text format that will work for version control.

I found that if I export the theme, the file theme-export-000000.theme is actually just a zip file, and most files (javascript, css, images) can be unzipped fine. The problem is that every .rain file is encoded in a way that I haven't been able to crack.

Every file has this pattern (not base64 or zip AFAIK): 4 random characters, a $ character, many random characters, a $ character, and finally 22 random characters.

Does anyone know how to convert my templates to text so I can manage them with proper version control?
