- Your customers have been requesting webhooks for some time now.
- Webhook integration in your other products shows you are more than capable of this task. In fact, most of the code probably exists.
- It is 2022.
- Given 1 - 3 above, what possible reason can Lightspeed have for not providing this capability that doesn't have a nefarious/selfish motive behind it? The most likely reason I can come up with is some distorted desire to "lock-in" to your "ecosystem." If that's not it, I'd like to hear an official reason.
- If you have no legitimate reason for not implementing webhooks in the retail environment, when should we expect their release?
