Below is the announcement from 2018. Does anyone know the exact date the merchantos.com domain will be disabled?

DOMAIN NAME CHANGE

We have a new domain for Lightspeed Retail, lightspeedapp.com. The merchantos.com domain will still work during a transition period of at least one year.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    My answer took a while, this was because I had to ask the right people about this, after finding them she told me that changing the domain name will not take place for a while. For this reason I will also update the documentation(remove that changelog), so you don't have to worry that the URL can no longer be used.
