Restrict Access to Profit Information

Would it be possible to button down the information that regular employees have to confidential financial information? We can restrict their access to reports in employee roles, but some will need access to reports for other simple tasks to keep the company running. Can we please separate access to information for profit and margins etc. They see dollars signs with profits posted but have no idea of what the cost of running a business really is.
