RETAIL SaleLine Endpoint Returns itemID = 0 for Kits

Hi All -

Using Retail API:

When using the SaleLine endpoint to get transaction data, it appears that the itemID field returns "0" for transactions built as kits.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround to be able to associate itemIDs in kits? Without this functionality, we are unable to associate this revenue with the proper item/category/GL Account.

    Lucien - thanks for the reply! We've been digging into this over the last few days, Aarya has helped quite a bit. We've learned that these results are due to a partner integrator that is passing in Sales Items via API and those Sales Items don't exist in Lightspeed. Therefore we get item_id = 0.

    So, this is not an issue relating to Kits as we first thought.
